| Oxygen is one of the major causes of food deterioration by many reactions, it can be increased inside the packaged food (e.g. vacuum packaging) by many, especially leakage and permeability of packaging materials. In order to monitor the gas status, KU-oXense, activated oxygen indicator label can be packed inside the headspace of the oxygen sensitive food package. Moreover, the indicator which is originally blue color can be started working by the UV-light activation and turned to yellow, and recovered to its original color when exposed and reacted to the oxygen that increases inside the package. This is very easy and efficient to warn and communicate the quality and safety of food products. | ||
