| “EPO Pro Test” is a rapid direct diagnostic test for Erythropoietin, a peptide hormone for blood doping abuse in sport. EPO is produced naturally by the human body which is released from the kidneys and acts on the bone marrow to stimulate red blood cell production. An increase in red blood cells improves the amount of oxygen that the blood can carry to the body’s muscles. EPO has been banned by World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) since the early 1990s. The “EPO Pro Test” for detecting the presence of EPO in urine and blood. The test is easy to use, rapid, sensitive, and specific. The test is suitable for first screening of erythropoiesis stimulating agents. | ||
