| Nephrolithiasis has a significant social and financial burden. There is no doubt that preventing stone recurrence is, therefore, as important as treatment. A lot of indices have been associated with kidney stone disease recurrence, but little evidence is available to support a relationship between oxidative stress, antioxidant system and kidney stone development or recurrence. We found that changes of the oxidative stress and antioxidant system profile are associated with an increased risk for stone recurrence in patients with urolithiasis and could be used as the markers for stone recurrence | ||
