 This recently patented Mixed Flow Centrifugal pump introduces several new inventive concepts. These concepts deliver greater pumping efficiency and production cost efficiency to the pump industry. It increases pump design options and combinations of construction materials. The design principally utilises the benefits of a specially engineered sinusoidal impeller within a toroid shaped pump chamber that closely mirrors the concave rotating profile of the sinusoidal impeller. This facilitates the use of double acting aqua plane technology to ensure ultra-smooth, reduced turbulence and interference, pumping efficiency and power. The pump is fed by a double intake suction system which counter-balances the high speed rotating impeller. The shape of the impeller virtually eliminates turbulence and interference amongst the currents created by the vanes OF CONVENTIONAL DESIGNS. The impeller and casing can be made from a variety of materials thereby increasing the different types of fluids that can be pumped. The design also maintains a high degree of equilibrium, resulting in increased energy saving, efficiency, less vibration and quieter operation. The casing and bearing setup allows near perfect balance and rotating efficiency.
